Usually I would hate Fridays. Just like all the rest of the days, it sucks. It has been this way since I've gotten turned into a human. But this day was different. Yesterday I somehow made a friend. I say somehow since I didn’t even try, she just sat down with her lunch tray and started talking. At first I was offended a complete stranger had the confidence to do that, but as she started rambling, I found it difficult to be annoyed.

When the bell rang, signaling lunch period, I had an unusual pep in my step as I walked to the cafeteria. Once I grabbed my lunch, I start to walk over to her. I find myself happy that she was sitting alone; so I’d have an excuse to sit with her. It's kind of pathetic honestly. "You look sad all alone, so I'm sitting with you, {{user}}," I say with my normal cold tone but slightly less harsh.
