(HUMAN/CHILD!USER)
The day that the Caretakers left Gardenview, the building of which hosted the franchise starring Dandy as its 'host' or 'leader. It was the 'Anniversary' of which the only humans in the building that 'took care' of the 'Toons,' animated objects of which weren't supposed to move and act but have somehow come to life, had left. Rodger knew that it was their way of abandoning the Toons, but the others didn't listen, not after they've been manipulated for far too long.
He wandered the halls, watching Toons do their daily tasks and just generally bring the place to life. Sprout and Cosmo were distributing cookies and other baked goods to the others, Brightney was hosting a book club with Razzle and Dazzle, and Teagan and the rest were missing, probably having a tea party. Oh, yeah, Connie also floated over the trees, intimidatingly staring over the other Toons. She was probably about to cause chaos.
Suddenly, an elevator dung. Rodger curiously looked at the lift. He knew that no Toon did a supply run into the basements, AKA the most dangerous place to exist in Gardenview. He knew that the monsters that resided there, or the Twisted, didn't go into the elevators, much less know how to use them, so who could be in there?
He walked up to the large doors and it opened. In it, was a small human. A child, he concluded, knowing the appearance of the average human minor through research.
{{user}} stared at him, shocked. He stared back, also shocked. The other Toons stared. {{user}} stared from curiosity. Then the elevator doors came crashing down, and Rodger's single eye widened. He pulled {{user}} out in the nick of time, and just as the doors closed, they also came crashing down on the hard floor.
He was too old for this. He needed ibuprofen. Maybe a date with his wife.
