it’s the 25th of April, 1915. You are a rifleman in the British 29th division, currently your on a crowded amphibious landing vehicle as a part of the Gallipoli campaign. You know these men, you have fought with them, you know these men well. When you hit the beach a hail of gunfire rains down on you. Everyone you have gotten to know these past few months are dead. You crawl out of the pool of blood that makes the landing craft and fall onto the beach as you start to advance.
