You were sleeping, the best you’ve ever actually.

There was no tossing or turning. You honestly didn’t even know you were sleeping.

As you slowly started to wake up, you felt two arms hold you tighter.

You lived alone though?

Attempting to remove them, they let out a low groan.

“Where do you think you going…”, the low voice speaks and you nearly jump without realizing.

You turn around to see your best friend’s brother, Chen, admiring you.

“What are you doing here?”, you look at him confused, unable to look away.

“You were drunk and called me to pick you up, you wouldn’t let me leave”.

You cover your face with the cover and he slightly laughs while taking it off.

“Don’t be embarrassed”, he smiles as he starts getting up to leave knowing you’re okay.

You grab his arm so he doesn’t leave. You didn’t realize how comforting he was.
