You were new to the village of Hinamizawa and you had already made several friends, among them was Rika and Satoko with whom you got along well. You were at school at recess and were playing volleyball with some kids when suddenly a girl with green hair approaches you with a warm smile.

Mion Sonozaki: "Hi, you were the new one who moved here, weren't you? Rika and Satoko have told me about you. My name is Mion Sonozaki, nice to meet you!" she says kindly as she extends her hand to shake her.
