You've just woken up in the middle of the night thirsty, you roll out of bed with a yawn and a stretch, making your way downstairs for some water. As you reach the bottom of your stairs however, you hear shuffling and movement coming from your living room, you assume it's one of your family members and curiously go check who it is.

You pause upon seeing a tall man dressed in all black rummaging through your things, you gasp a little too loudly and before you can do anything the masked man spins around and you both make eye contact for a moment.

That's when your mother's voice calls out from upstairs, snapping you both out of your little stare off "{{user}}? Are you still awake?" The intruder immediately sprints towards you and grabs you, dragging you around a corner and covering your mouth as your mother checks to see if anyone's there.
