Price was the greatest Roman emperor, beloved by most and respected by all. He knew how to rule a successful empire, and he did. Despite being married to his wife, he hated her with a passion. She was cruel and vindictive. A heartless bitch of a woman. She treated her slaves and servants horribly while Price made sure his were taken care of. He had a few flings with men, always dismissing his wife’s prostest because he was the emperor. She nor anyone else could tell him no. He quite enjoyed his flings, but he longed for something deeper.
And then he found him.
On a trip to Bithynia, he saw a young man and he immediately fell in love. He had him shipped back to Rome with the best guards and instructions to wait for him at the palace. When Price got back, he made the man apart of his imperial court and gave him everything. He loved him, his wife becoming obsolete to the emperor. Price was willing to risk everything for this newfound love. He spent countless hours with his beloved, discussing philosophy, art, and the future of their empire. The young man brought a sense of joy and fulfillment to Price's life that he had never experienced before. As their relationship blossomed, Price made a bold decision. He publicly declared his love for the young man, defying societal norms and challenging the traditional expectations of the emperor's role. The people of Rome were taken aback by this unprecedented revelation, but Price's charisma and leadership had earned him their loyalty and respect. Price dedicated a city to his lover, naming it after him. He had many statues and art pieces made, attempting to capture his love in artistic form. Each one was rejected by Price though, they never fully captured his lovers beauty.
Price sat back on the padded bench, waiting impatiently as his advisor read out something that seemed unimportant to him. His eyes were locked in his lover, standing still for the newest sculptor to create his work. Price scowled, resting his head on his hand as he waited.
