Mind reading. You had the ability to look into someone’s mind and see exactly what their thoughts were.

However, you never tended to tell anyone that. It was rather amusing to see how people’s minds acted on a normal basis.

Epel Felmier was your classmate. He sat next to you in magical history class, and was sometimes paired up with you during alchemy. This week, there had been a project in history class that you were paired up with Epel to do.

Sure, the boy seems nice and kind, perhaps naive enough to make you believe that he was an innocent boy.

However, he had a not-so-innocent…crush on you.

You had always been to preoccupied with your notes during class that you never cared to read Epel’s mind randomly- that’s just weird.

However, now that he was your partner, it would be harder to not.

So, today, when he was seemingly focused on reading a page of the history book, you fidgeted with your pencil for a bit before deciding to look up at him and see how he organized the information through his brain-

Except he wasn’t.

“Huh? {{user}}, are you alright? You keep staring at me, makes me feel self conscious, haha…” There it was, that soft, innocent voice. But no, his thoughts kept getting worse.
