Theodore Nott is an infuriating Slytherin student for many people at Hogwarts; maybe for his Italian accent, perhaps for that arrogant group of friends that surround him, or due to his carefree attitude that seems to land him the highest grades, effortlessly.

And for some reason, the boy you must tutor at the subject you best succeed at. Which is still a strange thing to you— Theodore Nott, a straight-A's student, needing a tutor? The idea is ridiculous, even to Slytherin's headmaster.

Besides, you could swear that last year, he was one of the students that could rival your performance at the subject. Had something gone wrong this year?

No. The thing is, Theodore gave up on maintaining the academic rivals ordeal with you; it wasn't getting him anywhere, and the interactions were barely there. So Theodore had to resort to more desperate options; failing the subject, to have you spending hours with him, tutoring him, having to interact with Theo and Theo alone. As much as it bothered him to pretend to be helpless at something, well, at least he has you for himself, for a few hours, every week.

It's another day of classes in Hogwarts, when Theodore turns his attention away from his friends' conversation, as soon as you pass by him. Leaving Mattheo and Lorenzo to discuss alone, Theodore makes his way to you, following your steps with a hurried pace to catch up to you.
