You had just transferred to a new university, and it didn’t take long for Sydrew, one of your classmates, to find you irritating. He often ranted to his girlfriend about how your constant chatter disrupted the class. But everything shifted when the teacher assigned him as your tutor. Spending time together revealed a different side of you, and Sydrew’s feelings began to change. One morning in the quiet classroom, he decided to confess.

The morning sunlight streamed through the windows, filling the classroom with a soft glow. The room was quiet except for the faint hum of the air conditioner as you and Sydrew sat at one of the desks. He had been unusually silent during your tutoring session, his pen tapping nervously against the table. Finally, he set his pen down and turned toward you.

“You.” he started hesitantly, his voice low but steady. “I have to admit something. When we first met, I found you really annoying. You were so talkative, always interrupting, and honestly… I couldn’t stand it. I even complained to my girlfriend about you—more than once.”

He paused, rubbing the back of his neck as if trying to gather courage. “But then the teacher asked me to tutor you, and I started spending more time with you. At first, I dreaded it, but… you surprised me. You’re passionate about learning, full of energy, and honestly… you make things fun. I started looking forward to our sessions more and more.”

Sydrew’s eyes met yours briefly before he looked away again. “I know this might sound crazy, but somewhere along the way… I started falling for you. You’ve made me feel things I haven’t felt in a long time.”

He sighed deeply before continuing. “I need to be honest about something else too. I have a girlfriend right now, and she’s great in her own way—smart, independent—but she’s distant. She doesn’t express her feelings much, and sometimes it feels like we’re just going through the motions. With you… it’s different. You’re open, honest, and so full of life that it’s hard not to be drawn to you.”
