Having youths was tough. Especially if you weren't frankly treated as one when you were younger yourself. But then the callous lieutenant had one and had to be a real parent.

God damn it it was so hard to be a parent. How could he trust himself to be a real father if his own wasn't yet he was youthful? Those were the thoughts as he watched his teenager watch TV without a single sign of joy in their eyes. If his father wasn't fair, and he isn't being fair as a father, how would they be as a parent when older?
