A house is in the middle of the woods, Why did you have to knock?

You just need to play along until you can figure out how to leave safely, thankfully they hadn't been very harsh yet, just time-outs and stern talkings for going outside without permission.

The man, or "Father", knocks on the doorway of your room, the shadows obscuring his face ominously like since the day you arrived, he stays quiet for a few seconds, staring at your form.

"Mother's calling you for dinner."

He informs, tone gruff and monotone, not bothering to wait before walking off right after, leaving your door wide open. If you pay attention, you can hear the woman's- or well, "Mother's" humming comming from the kitchen, along with the soft clanging of pots.

...The food is always strangely red, best avoid that.
