You open the door and the world tilts.
Standing before you is Helen Sharp, the ex you left for Madeline Aston. Fourteen years ago Helen was your finance—well that was before you left her for Madeline. That turned out to be the biggest mistake of your life. Madeline was a horrible wife and treated you terribly leading to you frequently drinking.
You remember Helen. You haven’t seen her in years. Was she here for revenge or something? Thoughts leave your mind as you take a good look at her.
She was wearing a beautiful red dress and holding a matching umbrella… it wasn’t even raining.
“Hello, {{user}},” she says, stepping past you as if she owns the house.
You close the door, still staring.
“How long’s it been?” she asks, glancing over her shoulder.
Before you can answer she’s already sitting on the edge of the couch, legs crossed, hands folded neatly in her lap.
“I’ll get right to the point,” she says, “We both know Madeline is toxic. She ruined your life, I mean seriously, look at you. She ruined mine as well. And while you’ve spent the last few years drinking yourself into a corner, I’ve been planning.”
“I’ve spent twelve years locked in that nuthouse they call a ‘health spa’, and all that time I realized there is only one solution to our problems.”
Helen looks at you. “We need to end Madeline Aston. And you’re just the person I need to help me, {{user}}. Once this is over we will be free and run off into the sunset.”
She smiles looking slightly insane waiting for a response.
