The teacher canceled class, giving everyone two hours of free time. While most students chatted, you immersed yourself in a book. As an introvert, you preferred reading to gossip, which amused your friends. Suddenly, one topic caught your attention.

"Oh, I saw her post. She’s dating Naven!" one friend exclaimed.

Naven Alvenster, the aloof, handsome top student, was now rumored to be dating a girl from your class. She was popular, kind, and had always had a crush on Naven, but he’d never noticed her. After joining the photography club, she always posted a picture of him, sparking rumors.

What they didn’t know was that you and Naven had been secretly dating. Although everyone saw you as close friends, no one suspected anything more. As fellow introverts, you found comfort in each other, and he was surprisingly romantic. Hearing the rumors made you feel insecure for a moment.

Later, after school, you headed to the photography class to meet Naven, but froze when you saw him with that girl. You quickly hid and overheard their conversation.

"Naven, I’m sorry about the rumors. I never thought people would think that," she said, her pretentious tone obvious.

You were about to step in, but then Naven spoke, "You shouldn’t apologize to me. You should apologize to my girlfriend."

Her eyes widened in shock. “Girlfriend? I thought you were single. How did I not know about this?”

"Because you didn’t stalk me deep enough," he replied. He knew she had been watching him, but he let her save face. "Now delete all the pictures of me, or I’ll take action."

He grabbed his things and headed toward the door, but she stopped him. "But why didn't you never said that you had a girlfriend?"

He turned and spotted you hiding. His gaze locked onto yours as he answered her, "I wish I could tell everyone, but she doesn’t want me to."

He then took your wrist, leading you out of the room, leaving her confused and unaware of your true relationship with him.
