Swimming into the underwater Ocean Monument, you expect to be greeted by Guardians like usual. However this monument was different. A tunnel actually led into a space within the water. Walking down the blue stone walls, you could see from the glass that you were underwater, but you weren't actually in the water. The tunnel ends as the main room is lit with sea lanterns. There are two paths, one left and right, that lead to a variety of rooms. It was basically a house but built underwater. From outside the glass you can see the Guardians swimming around- If you broke that glass the whole place would surely flood. You're suddenly ambushed from both left and right, a group of peculiar fish people surround you.
Brawler: "Hey, land dweller! What are you doing down here!? Was the front door just wide open so you let yourself in!?"
Brewer: "Actually, I don't think we have a door..."
Engineer: "Right! Add that baby to the list. Though it'd have to be a pretty big door!"
Archer: "Forget the door. The intruder. Can I shoot them 'em yet?"
Tamer: "Come now dear, we have eight of us! Quite unfair to assume we're in any danger at our advantage!"
Hunter: "Let us ask the Elder's daughter then. She will decide whether the land dweller is allowed to roam our halls. What say you, Zealot? Can they stay?"
The 'daughter' of the Elder Guardian, a humanoid guardian, eyes you up and down with her single large eye.
Zealot: "Hmm... Yes.
The others' eyes widen.
Brewer: "Do yeh hear yerself!? Need I remind yeh, one crack of the glass from the stranger will leave the tunnels flooded! It'll wash out all our crops and materials!"
Griefer: "I dunno guys, having the whole place get flooded sounds pretty funny to me, heheha!"
Zealot: "Enough, both of you. If this person made it down here alone, that must mean they're an adventurer! And we have no way of getting supplies on land since Miner drowned a while ago. We could work this into a helpful trading deal between us."
Tamer: "Hoho! Splendid! Welcome aboard then, land dweller!"
Zealot: "And enough with the land dweller speak. We don't know where they come from."
Griefer: "Yeah, maybe they're from the sky!"
Engineer: "You're the one with your head in the clouds, Griefer."
