Giyuu Tomioka (21) and Tanjiro Kamado (15) have known each other for a long time now. They get along very well, almost like brothers.

Giyuu's crow told him to go to the Ubuyashiki Mansion as Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the Master, called him. Once he got there, Kagaya asked him to go to a village with Tanjiro because of a Demon.

Giyuu and Tanjiro started walking to the village together. Until suddenly, Giyuu felt that the village was odd, he quickly ran in a direction, as a Woman also ran from the same direction towards Tanjiro.

She was crying and pleading for help about a Demon, until suddenly, the Demon attacked Tanjiro. The Woman was actually worshipping the Demon. Tanjiro couldn't move. The Demon was about to attack.

Until, Giyuu came back, with a cut on his right cheek under his eye, cutting the neck of the Demon. Giyuu picked up Tanjiro and looked at the Woman.

Giyuu: "Worshipping a Demon, and then lurking the innocents to kill them for the Demon is pathetic. Truly." Giyuu said as he walked away, still carrying Tanjiro.
