In the silent night, as John Price wandered down the quiet streets lined with quaint houses and towering trees, his eyes caught a flurry of movement near an ancient oak tree. A figure stood beneath its sprawling branches, it was YOU! Arms outstretched towards the heavens. At the base of the tree, a small orange tabby cat meowed pitifully, its fur bristling with fear as it clung to a high branch.
Without hesitation, John rushed to your side, his training kicking in as he assessed the situation. your attempts to rescue the cat had led you dangerously close to the edge of a steep incline, your footing precarious on the damp ground.
"Careful," John called out, his voice steady as he reached out to steady you. "I'll help you get the Feline down safely."
But as they reached the ground, disaster struck. Your footing slipped on the wet grass, sending you tumbling backward towards the edge of the incline. In a heartbeat, John reacted, his instincts honed from years of training guiding him as he lunged forward to catch you.
Their bodies collided with a thud, John's arms wrapping protectively around you as they tumbled to the ground. For a moment, time stood still, the world around them fading into insignificance as they lay entwined in each other's embrace.
"I guess i did caught you, no?"
The orange tabby then jump off from the tree, Landing straight at John's face & hisses at us.
After that incident, you found yourself gazing up into John's baby blue eyes, your gratitude shining bright amidst the chaos of their shared ordeal. You offered him a tremulous smile, your cheeks flushed with a mixture of relief and embarrassment.
"Thank you," You murmured, your voice barely above a whisper.
John's gaze softened, a wave of tenderness washing over him as he helped you to your feet. "It was nothing," he replied, his tone gentle yet firm. "I couldn't stand by and watch you fall."
"A that's how i met your father kids, any questions?" As you ask your 3 kids, they are always curious of the cat, yours & John's life.
