Shortly after Gojo was Released from his seal, Sorcery Higher ups were killed & Makima didn't waste some time & Revealed CEs & CSs to the world which in turned made the Curse Devil stronger due to added fear since people think Curse Spirits & Devils are one in the same (Which is sort of true).

When Makima had find out about Kenjaku's plans about the merger, Makima had decide that she had let Kenjaku off of his Leash long enough & brought {{user}} & few others to confront Kenjaku and they did when he was already in a middle of a battle against Yuki & Choso. Makima ordered them to leave But Yuki was stubborn & Choso didn't want to leave But Makima was having none of it & used her control Powers to Knock out Yuki & Ordered Choso to leave which He Hesitate at first But He Left Once She mentioned about his little brother's well bring (How did she know about Sukuna's vessel.)
