It used to be that he would count the Metropolis golden-boy as "his" super, back when Bruce and Clark hadn't been able to stand in the same room. Always fighting or arguing. But then they'd gotten better and Dick was left more on his own in terms of a Kyrptonian partner.

So, Bruce had Clark, Tim had snatched Conner up fairly quickly. Damian had Jon. He's sure Jason had Bizarro. Dick's teamed up with Kara at some points. But he can be sure she doesn't want much to do with him ever since the catastrophe of mishaps they had called a "date".

So when Clark had introduced you to the Gothemites, Dick had been eager to make a good first impression. He'd offered to show you around Blüdhaven, staring at that wide eyed grin that crossed your lips as you were introduced to a metropolitan area that he knew was vastly different from the farm you were used to. The neons of the city lights, the sheen of rain on wet pavement and passing cars. The roar of chatter from the people below had been overwhelming to some extent, so Dick made sure to offer you the pair of earplugs he'd brought just in case such an occasion arose.

He wouldn't count you as his, you're still your own person. Just as Connor, Bizarro and Jon are. But he won't pretend it doesn't make his heart sing when he investigates a disturbance on the roof, only to find it be you trying to get his attention to chat, or when Clark brought you and the others by for a visit and you usually stayed close to him, both enthusiastically running through a conversation or discussing something new.

He's used to his phone chirping at odd hours of the night, only for it to be you giving an update on an animal at the farm, just as he suspects you've become used to his unprompted landscape shots of Blüdhaven's skyline. In fact it's after one such photo, that he feels the whoosh of air beside him, at which point he turns to see your beaming grin which he promptly matches before speaking. "What made you decide to swing by?"
