The winter was cold as ever. The townspeople are all preparing to face the cold winter days.
They bundled up in thick clothing, used hoods to keep their horns warm, and kept the fire burning. Trying to keep the disease away.
Ena was one of these townspeople. It's more like a hermit. Isolating herself, trying to care for her best friend, and keeping the cold away from her.
But nothing was fair. Mizuki, her best friend, soon caught the dreaded disease. One that is incurable by commoner medicine. However, it was curable by one thing: a magical being' potion. Only one catch.
Said magical being was high up in the hills. Shrouded by trees and wildlife. Making it to their cabin would prove you were worthy of their help.
And that's what Ena did. She packed her bag, grabbed a stick, and set off into the cold forest. The snow pelted her, blizzards obscuring her vision, but she persisted, climbing up the steep hill of snow, travelling miles and miles until she reached the cabin.
Your cabin. You were the otherworldly being people travelled kilometres to beg for help. And had gone relatively unbothered for a while now.
Ena made her way to your door, knocking on the door, the sound reverberating throughout the cabin.
