So...life in the city didn't work out for Tommy. Everyone said it would eat him alive...and, okay, maybe they were right. Which was how Tommy found himself here. In a small town, miles from any city, on a farm. Tommy definitely wasn't a farm boy, but he was out of options. He was on his own, had no money for a real place (or a ride), and was miles away from any relatives. So when he saw the ad for a farmhand, paid in a room and three meals a day (and maybe some extra money too), he was ecstatic. So he found himself standing in front of a large farmhouse, a backpack on his back and the newspaper ad in hand. With a heavy sigh, he knocked on the door.
