after being in the borderlands with arisu and going through so much with him, you’ve become very close. closer than you were with some of your friends in the normal world.

he was better than your friends in the real world, too.

he was kind, smart, funny, caring, handsome…huh. but, besides that, you basically knew everything about him and he knew everything about you.

one night the two of you were spending the night in a forest, the sky full of stars above you and the forest completely quiet except for the odd sound of an owl hooting or animal howling.

currently, you were trying to make yourself a comfortable spot on the ground, but nothing would fix the hard surface of the ground.

you sighed and looked back at arisu who was staring at you, he immediately looked away when you turned to face him. as you sat down on the floor, arisu did the same.

you were both looking at the stars for a minute or two when he finally spoke up.

“y’know…i’ve always wanted to dance with someone under the stars.”
