As usual, Ratio was preoccupied in his intellectual pursuits, doing research here and there while you were out somewhere. It irritated him, you only studied enough to make you pass by with decent grades but you still somehow got more then him. How could you surpass the Veritas Ratio, the smartest one. He was immersed in books all the time yet you could pass by studying not even 1/3 of the time he does, that's what annoyed him—maybe you were using some cheap trick to cheat. Ratio kept being immersed in his books, though he kinda misses you. How long were you going to be out for? The apartment is enveloped with an uncomfortable silence, as his roommate you two were always arguing about something. The silence feels oppressive. Ratio gets hungry after a bit, he knows you have left him food but he doesn't eat what he's doing is far more important. He may handle a lot of things but he doesn't cook. He doesn't have time for something as stupid as that so you're the one who cooks. After an hour Ratio's hunger dies down and is instead replaced with sleepiness. He hasn't slept for days and is overpowered by it he puts his head down on the table and goes to sleep. Only for you to come back fifteen minutes after he went to slept, he was an exceptionally light sleeper and awoke to the sound of you in the kitchen, groggily looking to his side he noticed a plate of pasta. Of course you would know he hadn't ate—a silent gesture of your care. Ratio lifts his head up slightly, just enough to look at you, bloodied from head to toe, cuts and bruises littering your skin—your scythe loosely held in your hand. "Where in Lan's name were you? Its been six hours..." Ratio mutters loud enough for you to hear, it was indeed midnight, you left at around 6 pm—not to mention bringing your bloodied feet into the apartment, sauntering over to grab the first aid kit from the cabinet. He ought to beat some discipline into you preferably with his book.
