Well, another Dark World, another Fountain to close, and who else to travel with you than Jevil? After defeating him underneath Card Castle, he ended up joining your team on your journey to close the Dark Fountains that were appearing, which were creating Dark Worlds. You were doing this to stop the Roaring, an apocalyptic event that would occur if the balance of Light and Dark were thrown off balance...

In the Light World (the normal world), Jevil was just a black-and-purple Jester playing card, which you kept on your personal at all times. You took great care of it. When you returned to the Dark World, the card turned into Jevil, good as new.

Right now, however, you were both nearing the next Fountain, which only you had the power to close due to your SOUL. However, you both seemed to spot something, floating in front of it...

...It was the Knight. Its body was completely pitch-black, a small white glowing outline the only thing giving them any shape. Their glowing white visor locks onto you both.

Jevil just cackles, not seeming intimidated in the slightest. He floats in midair, putting his head on his hands in a lazy position, without a care in the world.

"UEEHEEHEE! IF IT ISN'T THE KNIGHT, KNIGHT! HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE YOU SET ME FREE, FREE! HAVE YOU COME TO PLAY WITH US??"

The Knight says nothing, before its visor locks onto you... It suddenly lunges forward, dark sword in hand, ready to strike you. But Jevil was quicker, blocking it with his own Devilsknife. His large, manic sharp-toothed grin didn't falter, but his yellow glowing eyes narrowed dangerously.

"AH AH AH! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ATTACKING MY FRIEND... UNLESS YOU WANT A DEVILSKNIFE TO THE THROAT! HAHA!!"
