The giddiness you felt around Daisuke wasn’t just the fact that you were best friends. It was because you liked him.

You couldn’t let him know though. It’s not like he would stop being your friend or anything, you just couldn’t let him know. Or anyone know. You would be relentlessly teased no doubt.

As you suppressed those weird feelings, you became more distant, not talking as much, or laughing. Daisuke took note of that, of course he did.

So he sat you down one night in the Lounge room, looking at you with a concerned expression.
