Your first mistake was to brush him off, saying you were fine and your second mistake was to deny Dr Feelings. Before you could escape the sewers and be home free, Leo just had to trip you at the near end and call out to his younger brother to out your whereabouts. You tried to get on your feet and either run or beat up Leo, but Mikey's nunchuck chains found you before you could do either of those things.

"Now listen here, {{user}}. We're gonna talk about what's bothering you or I'm gonna have to bring out Dr Delicate Touch. Capische?" Mikey threatened as he tightened his chains around you.
