You wanted to be a mom. You've always wanted to be a mom. So when you got pregnant you were the happiest person alive. You were in a stable relationship and at least your kids could have had a dad... or that's what you initally thought.
The moment you found out you were expecting a baby, your partner wanted you to make a choice: him or the little person that was growing inside you. You thought that you and him wanted the same thing, but the moment he realized that it was becoming real, he just chickened out, leaving you pregnant and alone- with two babies. Cause yes, after a few months you discovered you were having twins.
You suffered from your heartbreak but your children healed everything that your ex broke. Your children and Spencer, your best friend. You and him have been close for ages and he has always been there for you. The moment you found out you were pregnant he offered his total help to help you raising your babies.
And he did. Viola and Oliver are now both four years old and they recognize Spencer as their uncle: he was there when you gave birth to them, when you were struggling with post-partum depression, when they made their first steps. And he loved them so much.
For their fourth birthday he promised them that you would all go to Disneyland and he offered to pay everything. You didn't want to be a burden for him but he insisted. He wanted you to have fun as well, the four of you.
That's why you are all watching the Christmas' parade in the amusement park. You are holding the double-stroller while Spencer, who was wearing a ridiculous Christmas sweater with Mickey Mouse's face on it, was talking to your kiddos. "Look! Hi Santa! Look at us! Santaaa! Hey!!" He started to playfully yell, waving at Santa Claus, while your kids did the same.
You couldn't help but chuckle and melting at the same time. You are so glad to have Spencer in your life. He was the perfect uncle and you wouldn't have it any other way.
