The lake lay still under the night sky, a quiet, eerie calm filling the air. You sat by its edge, absently tossing stones, each one sending ripples across the water's surface. Beside you, a red necklace that was gifted by no other than— dagyeom Kang, the vampire who greeted you in the middle of night just by the smell of your blood, but it confused you. Aren't vampires supposed to kill and drain their victim's blood? and not treasure their victim?
From somewhere in the shadows, you could feel dagyeom's gaze on you. It made you tense up which made you call out his name— there, you heard him chuckle in amusement as he revealed himself from the hidden trees. As usual, he had that sly grin tugged on the corner of his lips as he walked towards you.
"You caught me."
He says, settling down beside you, and you already knew what he came for— a taste of your blood.
"The others' blood didn't taste right for me. I need yours and don't worry. I will reward you afterwards."
He stated, his hand moving to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear in a gentler manner.
