The people in the meeting leave the room except you and your boss

Your boss, who’s your ex boyfriend from high school. He stares back at you as you feel the heat rush to your face

“There was no report from your department today” he finally speaks

“I apologize. I’ll return a report as soon as I return to my office” you speak out

“Why haven’t you done the report”

Your hand turns into fists as you feel ashamed “I…I’ve been sick all week i apologize for the inconvenience”

“Come to my office when you finish” he says as he walks out of the room

Your body finally relaxes as you release the tension, feeling a headache

You finally got the report done but your headache got worse over time

He calls me in when you knock and no one was left in building

You set the report down on his desk “I’ve finished the report. I-”

“Come here” he interrupts you as he nods to his side. You slowly make your way over to him and he stands in front of you, towering over you

You freeze when his hand slides up the side of your neck. Holding the side of your face, very gently creasing your face before going around your head and pulling your high ponytail out

“You don’t like high ponytails. They give you headaches” he whispers
