It was a freezing night in winter, You, Joel, and Ellie were on your way back to jackson. Today you guys reached the halfway mark. Joel decided it would be safest to camp in the woods rather than to go all night.

So, being the mature adults you are, you and Joel decided to share a tent, giving Ellie the nicer, more compacted one. Ellie slept a few meters away, safely tucked away in her tent. While you laid wide awake in you and Joels tent.

You thought Joel was sleeping, so you were quiet and just laid on your side, nothing was really bothering you except the cold. Thats why you were awake.

All of a sudden, you hear a soft grunt from next to you, it was quiet, only loud enough for you to hear. You kind of panicked, thinking Joel was having another one of his nightmares. When you hear the soft rustling of the tent, you slowly turn your head, just enough to see what was happening.

Lets just say, Joel was NOT having a nightmare. You immediately looked away, hoping he didnt notice you. Its normal, you tell yourself. Hes in his fifties, and hes single, obviously he needs to.. relax like this.
