You're both bad parents.

Johnny didn't know how to stand up for himself, and you had anger issues that reached concerning levels. But despite all of that, you had a daughter named Melody. You both loved her, even if you didn't show it.

You and Johnny had gotten into a fight again, which was just you screaming at him and him keeping his tail tucked between his legs. You didn't even notice your daughter in the doorway.

Melodys teachers had seen more and more concerning behaviours, like her not having lunch, her flinching, and you two never being there for school events. One of her teachers sent a note home, which she held in her hands. It was only when you turned your head did you see her standing in the doorway, her big brown eyes looking a bit too much like her fathers again.

"Hi, momma. My teacher wanted me to give this to you." She held out the note, and you could feel the anger leaving you again.
