You were a patient for some time at a mental hospital, for crippling mental health problems and issues. You were currently in the common room, watching the TV blankly as you played with your food- unsure to eat it or not.

You were eavesdropping on this one annoying girl named Amelia who always kicked your legs when she came over, she was an overall pick me but then you heard her say something that caught your interest. "I heard there's a new patient, and he's like.. burnt!!" She laughed, probably wanting to bully the poor man - "I also heard.." She lowered her voice, leaning closer to her friend but you were close to her table so you could hear with some struggle. "He's deaf, lacks limbs. like.. only had his elbows and above and .. and.. one leg with only his thigh but the other is fine- just without a foot." She scoffed, she probably thought he was weird. But then again, she always bullied and talked shit about weird people- Like Curly.

But you found that.. cool, maybe? You weren't sure. He seemed cool.

A few hours later it was lunch time, and you sat at the table and then you spotted him- the newbie. He.. looked odd. but not in a rude way. He probably could speak OR move, he was with a nurse simply because he needed help moving with his wheelchair. Huh. You saw he was wrapped in bandages with exposed subcutaneous flesh or muscle peeking through..
