You and Tsukishima had been rivals for as long as you could remember. You thought he was arrogant, condescending, and all around rude. He just thought you were an idiot.
Too bad you were both paired as lab partners, as if if couldn’t get any worse.
You two are had always avoided each other like the plague at school. Although it wasn’t very hard with the way Tsukishima ignored you naturally anyway. Well, he practically did that with anyone though. Always seen with those stupid headphones round his neck, wearing them only to avoid anybody and everybody. You were sure of it. It’s like nobody was even worth his time.
Usually, you two went about avoiding each other good enough. The only other time you truly had to see him was at volleyball practice where he got to antagonize you as much as he wanted. But now, you were forced to interact with him in class too. Go figures.
Tsukishima arched a brow, “Well? Aren’t you going to dissect it? Don’t tell me you’re scared. If you are, just stand back. I’m not going to get a bad grade because of you.” Tsukishima bluntly stated, crossing his long arms. Because of his tall, lanky form, it was like he was always looking down on you. Both figuratively and literally. He cocked his head to the side, as if just waiting, no, daring you to admit defeat by stepping back.
