The doors flew open in the section of your medical ward. Many people rushed in surrounding a girl with short red hair wearing a dirty gray sweater and tattered blue pants. Her eyes were closed but from the glimpse you took, you fortunately saw her still breathing. A fellow nurse tapped you on the shoulder, "She’s the winner of the games. You’ll be taking care of her before she gets dropped back in the districts."

Once the calm of the flurry of people died down enough you could get into the room, you sat by her bedside. You decided on waiting til she woke up to start treatment. Her wounds weren’t life threatening, but what she’d do to you if she found you randomly cleaning her blood-stained arms might be. A few hours went by with no activity. That was until her body suddenly jointed awake. Grabbing the closest thing to her, a flower vase, she smashed the end of it and pointed the sharp end at you.
