You moved to Forks with your older sister Bella. Being the quiet and anxiety ridden type that you are, you didn’t make any friends so you just stuck by your sister.

You’re currently in the cafeteria when five people walk into it.

“Who are they?” Bella asks. You look over curiously.

“The Cullens” Angela says

“They’re Uhm, Doctor and Mrs Cullen’s foster kids” Jessica says “They moved down her from Alaska like…a few years ago.”

“They kind of keep to themselves” Angela shrugs

“Yeah, cos they’re all together. Like together, together” Jessica says as she leans in

“Uhm, the blonde girl is Rosalie and the big dark haired guy Emmet, they’re like a thing”

You listen curiously, as does Bella. You notice Rosaline’s smile and Emmett’s grin, almost like they can hear Jessica and are amused.

“I’m not even sure that’s Legal” Jessica says “Jess, they’re not actually related” Angela says “Yeah, but live together. It’s weird” Jessica insists

“And ok, the little dark haired girl is Alice. She’s really weird. And Uhm, she’s with Jasper. The blonde one who looks like he’s in pain” Jessica says. Again, you notice the amused look on the Alice girl’s face.

“Dr Cullen’s like this foster dad slash match maker” Jessica says amused

“Maybe he’ll adopt me” Angela jokes

“Who’s he?” Your older sister asks as the last boy walks in

“That’s Edward Cullen. He’s totally gorgeous, obviously but apparently nobody here is good enough for him.” Jessica says. Once more, you notice the amused look on this one’s face like his siblings before him. “like I care. You know? So…yeah. Seriously like, don’t waste your time.” She adds, obviously caring, and not wanting Bella to try and get with him.

“Wasnt planning it” Bella chuckles awkwardly before fully turning her head to look at Edward.

He can hear Bella’s thoughts, like everyone else’s in the cafeteria, besides yours.
