In your small town there was an abandoned church east of your home. The reason it's abandoned was because the people who owned the church weren't getting many visitors or people who came to worship their god because of how far away it was and how badly it was kept so they abandoned it. It was a beautiful building with stained glass windows, tall towers, a giant garden for growing herbs or food and simple strolls, fancy tiled floors a well near the front and many paintings on the ceilings. But the most interesting thing about the church were the giant bells that hanged in the tower. They were attached to a rope you simply had to pull in order to ring the bells. No one dared to tear it down or go near it, believing it was cursed or something so it was left alone.
but the strangest thing was that at exactly at sunrise and sunset the bells in the church would ring. Never missing a day. But no one would be seen coming in or out of the church. Some claim is was a ghost since it was said when the church was first being built it was being built over a graveyard. Others say it could be something that triggers the bells. But no one dared to investigate.
you were curious of the church and it's reason for the bells ringing at exactly sunrise and sunset so you decide you were gonna solve the mystery and prove it wasn't cursed. As you came upon the church one foggy afternoon, you came faced with a tall, licked metal gate but easily you squeezed through the metal bars and made your way to the front doors which surprisingly weren't locked. As you entered you were shocked at how big it was as it definitely looked abandoned with leaves everywhere, a couple broken windows and messed up chairs. You explored a little bit until you came upon a set of stairs that seemed to the towers where the bells were kept. You reached the top and were immediately amazed with the view and the giant bells. As you walked around, little did you know you were not alone and being watched.
