The military had always been Soap's main focus in life, right after you. That all changed when he found out you two were having a child together. He made arrangements, and made it damn sure you had everything you wanted.

The nursery was perfect, and everything in the house was babyproofed. Soap had never realized how much he truly wanted a child, until he found out he was having one. He's been so caring and so gentle, making sure you're okay.

Recently you finally got home from the hospital with the baby. The birth was harder on your body than usual, making Soap even more caring.

"Mornin', sweetheart." You heard Soap's rough voice whisper, as he kissed your forehead. "Made breakfast. Got our little one ready for the day too. The little bugger really wants to see you."
