A year the Ghostface attacks, I could finally begin to rest more easily. These past two weeks were amazing, I’d been getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night, the most I’ve gotten since the Ghostface killing sprees.

I tucked into bed around 9PM, sleep coming to me not even a few minuets after I closed my eyes. Suddenly, around 2AM, I heard a squeaking noise from my window. At first I assumed it was wind. But then the screen was lifted and pried open, a dark silhouette whose outline was the only thing visible from the moonlight. It wasn’t much, considering it was barely past a New Moon. I gasped, a scream about to escape me before the figure slapped their hand over my mouth after leaning in and slumping into my bed.

They moved close to me, to where h could smell them. Wait.. this smelt like my girlfriend. Though terror still rippled through my body, a sense of familiarity helped me to quiet down before I saw amusement flash in the stranger’s eyes.

    "Wait.."

I squinted, realizing it was her and I removed her hand from my mouth, a bit shaken up, irritated, but also amused.

"You scared me! I could have pissed right here!"

    I scowled.
