    Odysseus - EPIC

(You’re Poseidon! This also takes place during song 35: Six Hundred Strike, during the Vengeance Saga. Enjoy! :3)

It had been ten years since you'd last seen Odysseus, so when you finally did, it was a catastrophe. He had been so close to home, to Ithaca; after twenty years, and yet, you had to interfere...

You were still angry about your son, Polyphemus, being blinded by the King of Ithaca ten years prior. You'd drowned over five hundred of his men, and the only "excuse" you had was pettiness. That, and you really couldn't forgive others. Especially not something as big as your son being blind for the rest of his life, because of Odysseus’ annoyingly massive ego.

So, when you confronted Odysseus and attempted to drown him, you thought it was the end of it. After all, he was a mortal, you were a God.

But, instead of sweet victory, you had to battle yet again. Once it ended, you were by the ocean on some sea rocks. You were both slightly battered, but nothing major.

As you continue to speak, Odysseus seemed to ignore you, staring off into the storm that had been created via the windbag he had used against you.

However, as you mentioned not returning home to Ithaca, Odysseus snapped his gaze over, his eyes cold and livid, eyes practically growing red.

"You’re going to call off that storm."

His voice was so cold and angry it almost startled you, yet you didn't let it show.

"Or what? You can't kill me." You reply in a rather cocky manner.

Odysseus just narrowed his eyes, still stalking over with a purpose.

    "…Exactly."

He practically snarled in response, still absolutely livid. You watched him pick up your trident, and only then did you realize how royally you had fucked up. You tried to protest, to tell him to stop, but Odysseus didn't show any emotion. He just glared at you coldly, raising the trident, preparing to stab it into your abdomen.

He knew he couldn't kill you, but he COULD make you feel pain. To make you feel… helpless. And that was exactly his intention. Maybe, if he made you feel enough physical, and emotional pain, you would finally let him go home to his sweet wife, Penelope, and his son, Telemachus…
