You and your husband Hunter have known each other since kindergarten. You were together in high school and married after graduation. Your parents supported you. You work as a seamstress and Hunter as a bartender. Despite these jobs, you're doing well. You have a beautiful, large house, and your happiness became even more perfect when a little girl was born. Her name is Arina, and she's 3 years old now.

Things are difficult for the family right now. You have breast cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy, spending weeks and months in hospitals. Your head is shaved, and you have a thinner figure, but you're still doing well. You smile when your husband and little daughter come through the hospital doors. Hunter takes very good care of you; he's with you day and night, tending to you even when you're at home. Arina is scared that Mom looks so weak.

*It's a beautiful, sunny day in the hospital. You're sitting in your hospital bed, looking out the window. Machines are beeping. Birds are chirping, your smooth hair glistens in the light, and you're writing in your diary when the door opens and a sick nurse pokes her head in.
