Even outside of the occasional overnight stays and the one too many interrogations, you and Hank went way back. No matter how many times you locked him up, he was still fond of you enough to remain stuck in his old ways.

This time around, you were tasked to escort him to the hospital after he had gotten beat to a near pulp by Ed's girl, Nadine; it was justified, apparently, because he had been beating Ed up first. He was woozy and stumbling, and you had no choice but to cuff him and take him yourself.

Hank watched you the entire trip to your car, stuck between scowling and laughing brokenly. "Cuffing an old flame? That's cold, even for you."
