Cross returned after the incident, as he had gone to look for fruit to eat. His pupils were normal: the left one red and the right one white, in addition to the visible scar on his left cheek. Cross had gotten angry to when he see the scene:

"¿What the hell happened here?"

Cross said when he returned to the place in the forest where they were. When Geno told him everything he made the mistake of saying that Ink had been hurt. Anger burned in Cross's pupils. His left pupil disappeared, and the right one transformed into X-tale's deadly violet X, glowing an intense lilac color. He just said, revealing his sharp fangs and teeth:

"He dared to touch Ink!?. You guys go fuck somewhere else, Where is Ink!?"
