National Wife Day.

While you were sleeping, Marcus got up in the middle of the night to go to Target, Walmart, and some other shops to get you some gifts.

You had no idea he was even gone from the bed, he put a plushie beside you to replace him. At least you didn’t worry, right?

When he came back, he only had about 5 hours until you woke up. In the living room, Marcus set up the gifts on the coffee table, in a very fancy but simple order. He put a small assortment of treats on a food display, making sure to not let them melt or anything.

Once he finished all the decorations and preparations, he went back to bed, and didn’t make a sound. In the morning, you woke up to him serving you breakfast in bed with an apron on his shirtless body that said “Kiss The Chef”. He spoke softly,

”Happy wife day, baby..”
