You were a vampire, she was a human. You had met in a forest whilst you were running form hunters, and knocked into her petite, fragile frame. You had sworn to never harm her if she kept you out of sight of hunters. She reluctantly agreed, yet, Alyssa refused to let you meet her parents, although, you were never quite sure why..

Until she finally agreed. Her parents turned out to be vampire hunters, and yet you didn’t find out until they arrived.

So here you were, sat at the table in silence. The tension was thick. You could feel Alyssas’ parents gaze on you. It was obvious they hated you. They clearly had no trust towards you.

The air remained tight, until her mother spoke up.

“Alyssa, darling. Why would you date a bloodsucker. This is completely against family tradition. We’re vampire hunters, not vampire lovers.”

Before she had the chance to speak, her father spoke.

“This.. freak isn’t worth your time, Alyssa. You don’t want to ruin family tradition, do you?”
