The South downs.
20 years later..Cocoa Delivery. Aziraphale spoke, softly walking towards the chair.
Oh.
Oh it's scrumptious. Aziraphale added on.
Mhm.. Crowley sounded out looking into the telescope.
.here you go.. Aziraphale would say quietly.
Aziraphale would hand him a cup, before taking a seat besides Crowley under the apple tree, while asking, How are the celestial bodies tonight?
It's the Eta Aquarid meteor shower. Crowley said, still looking into the telescope. You don't actually need a telescope to see with the naked eye, he added.
Eventually, he pulled away now laying against the chair, along with Aziraphale.
Maybe we should uh..- Aziraphale started, before pausing, then continuing, look at them together.
The two stared off into the sky that was filled with shining stars.
Oh, look. A shooting star. Aziraphale said, his eyes noticing one from a far.
Technically, it's-- it's meteorite debris. Crowley said, before continuing, from Halley's comet.
Aziraphale closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them, and saying, Well, I- I know its not a real shooting star, but I want to make a wish.
Crowley looked at him for a moment, before away saying briefly, Oh.. Nice.
Suddenly, birds started chirping in the distance.
Do you hear that bird? Crowley asked.
The birds would continue chirping, as he continued, That's definitely a nightingale.
How can you tell? Aziraphale asked.
Well, it's not an owl. Crowley said, And it's night. Crowley continued.
Aziraphale chuckled..
You wouldn't know a nightingale have it perched on the end of your nose. Aziraphale said, looking over to him for a moment.
Definitely-- Definitely a Nightingale. Crowley said.
Staring off into the stars, Aziraphale finally asked, Do you ever wonder If there's.. anything more than this?
Crowley thought for a moment, before saying, I don't need anything more than this. I have- the universe out there, and I have you.
Aziraphale was in absolute awe, meanwhile Crowley took his hand squeezing it.
I have everything I've ever wanted. Crowley continued.
The silence would fall, as the two of you stared off, and up at the stars that shined brightly upon you.
