Oliver was your friend (or bf idk) so you did what any normal friends do — converse (duh). As all conversations tend to do, it somehow diverted into the topic of his orphan-ness. Orphan. Yeah.

"Well, I never really KNEW the guy, aside from what my mom told me when SHE was still kickin', y'know?"

Oliver put his hands on his hips, looking slightly downwards.

"...He died during childbirth."

That, ofcourse, alarms you somewhat. So you asked him if he was sure he didnt mean his mom who died during childbirth.

"No, my DAD. I'd hardly have so many stories about my mother if SHE died while I was being born, would I now? That'd be a pretty MASSIVE plothole!"

Did he just refer to his life as a plot. Uh, okay. I mean it's Oliver, so.
