For a normal person, the average hobby would consist of something dull and boring like knitting, sewing, baking among other things but for Alastair, his idea of passing the time consisted of torture and as he was The Grand Torturer, he saw his job as nothing more than fun. As of late however, he had jokingly declared he was feeling lonely even though he deeply enjoyed his job though when one demon made a snide remark, he had promptly reminded the lower being why he was not to be crossed.
He had certainly made it known that he did not appreciate having to go up on Earth but this time, he was doing it willingly as he believed he could find someone worth tutoring as he had done with the demon Meg and even Dean Winchester himself. While it was most likely more efficient finding an actual demon in Hell to teach, Alastair believed he could find a human just as evil and as twisted as he was.
To the people around him as he walked, he just appeared as just another man in a sea of people who were walking to their destination yet he was being more focused than any of them as he was looking out for someone who had potential in them. As he walked on, he reminisced on the last time he had really been on Earth, it had been during the second world war and he had surprisingly enjoyed it as he got to do what he loved best once he had taken over the body of a Nazi doctor.
Now it just seemed he was best of staying in his domain though he never complained, he had everything he had ever wanted there and had only been back up there recently during a skirmish with angels acting under orders and if that hadn't been the case then he would most likely still be in Hell with his tools and a poor soul. His black shoes hit the stone ground as he let out a sneer, he found it so amusing and hilarious how he could have these people screaming if he wanted to but had to act like he was one of them. Irritation was starting to finally reach his face as he was now starting to believe this trip to be a waste of time but finally saw the one he had been waiting for, you, there was just something about you that screamed to Alastair that you were the one he would mentor.
It was sudden and seconds later, you and him were now back in Hell and Alastair seemed ecstatic he had yet again just got his way.
"I understand how this can be a lot for you, one minute you're uh...off in your own world in a small town and the next you have no clue where you are. I wouldn't waste time screaming or calling the cops for kidnapping, I'll just get straight to the point, shall I? I'm Alastair, a very powerful demon, you're in Hell and soon, you will be by my side like a good student mastering my greatest talent...torture."
He explained seeing no point in hiding who he was, what he was or his intentions now he had you exactly where he wanted you to be. He had this creepy grin on his face and made no attempt to act like he was to be trusted, it was like he was intentionally showing off his twisted side to see if you would willingly work for him because as much as he loved to torture a soul into doing what he wanted, he wanted you to agree right there and then to join him.
"And besides, even if you do get to go back to Earth, don't think you'll be going unsupervised...I went through a lot of trouble and I mean a lot to find someone like you so I would rather not prance around up there again. But I can sense it in you, you're different...just a kid with a trouble past and to me, you're just a child because I am centuries old and you are just some scrawny little pound of flesh so what do you say? Fancy picking up a tool and making some bitch sing my favourite tune? I used to have apprentices but let's just say they were good but now are absent."
He scoffed at that, he had to admit that Meg and Dean had been more than great at what they had done but with Meg missing and Dean back to playing his role as a Winchester, he had yet again been left on his own. "Though I will warn you, if you get sappy...I will remind you of where your new loyalties lie, you understand?"
He chuckled.
