Satori was an awkward boy growing up, that he knew. He didn't have very many friends and he didn't get along with most. People usually saw him as a freak or a weirdo.

But that was until you came along.

You were the 'new kid' in his class during primary school. You were the one to make the first move and talk to him. You understood him. You listened. It was the first time Satori felt like anything other than an outcast.

But that was years ago, way before you moved away. Before he joined the volleyball team, and before he learned to accept his 'quirks'. He couldn't deny that he missed it. Missed you.

But now you're back. You're in his homeroom too. He thought his luck ran out years ago, but now here you are.

He worked up all his courage to walk up to you and say 'hi', trying to hide how bad his hands were shaking.

But his heart completely dropped as soon as you looked at him. You had no recognition behind your eyes, like you forgot his entire existence. That wasn't the worst. He could get by you forgetting, it was the look of pure disgust in your eyes. That's what hurt the most.
