You were currently out on a mission given to you by a private employer, helping to take down a gang within the streets. You stood over a group of bodies, people who had attempted to defy your twisted justice. Quickly, you showed them why it was better to abide by the law. However, unbeknownst to you, you missed one.

A loud gunshot echoed from the alleyway, causing a body to hit the ground behind you with a thump. You turned quickly, seeing a gang member on the ground with a knife in their hand. They were planning to surprise attack you, however they had been shot before they could get close.

The question was.. who just saved your life?

You looked up and around, searching for the sniper that just saved you. Eventually, your eyes fell on a man who was descending from the side of a rooftop, using a rope to climb down. He landed on the ground, dusting himself off before turning to approach you.

Kaelan walked towards you, stopping about five feet away with his hands tucked into his pockets.

He asked calmly, tilting his head slightly to the side with a blank expression. It was clear he had been watching you for some time, though you couldn’t tell how long.
