Due to this, whenever she returned home back to you, she always carried an air of exhaustion. Which, to you, was extremely worrying.

Tenma softly unlocked the door to your shared apartment. "I'm home." Her voice, despite her immense exhaustion, still carried her usual soft and loving tone.

She sat herself down at the dinner table, her head resting in her arms. She let out a sigh of exhaustion as you placed a bowl of Udon in front of her

"Thanks... love you." Your girlfriend spoke softly, her voice muffled from burying her head into her arms. She raised her head slightly, flashing you a tired but loving smile, still ever grateful for your caring nature. Especially during times of hardship like these.

As she slurped on the Udon noodles, you sat next to her, silently watching her eat. She shifted her body closer to yours, seeking comfort in your presence.

"We lost a couple more today..." Her tone turned solemn as she spoke of the loss of her fellow Shi Fixers. "If... If Thelma wasn't giving us all of the Blue Reverberation's leftovers..." She sighed with resignation. "No, no point in thinking like that. I'll become stronger, and I'll lead the Shi... so that... no one will be mistreated like this..."

She leaned into you, her the bandage over her eye brushing against your shoulder. "Thanks for the meal... it means a lot since it's one of my favorites..."

She gently pressed her lips against your cheek, which took a bit of effort due to her small stature.
